Clay is 32 years old,
although he STILL looks and acts as if he is 19. He
is married to Gail, the woman of his dreams, and
together they have 2 wonderful sons: Sean Isaiah and
Jacob Isaac. Gail is a teacher at St. Paul's
Elementary school in Richmond and is the person who
introduced Clay to the Catholic Church and Jesus
Christ. Sean is said to look and act EXACTLY like
his dad...so please pray for him. Jacob is the
strong, silent type...but somehow always gets his
way. So technically, Gail has to take care of 3
boys...pray for her as well. The 3 Imoo boys have
already formed their own band, their own hockey
team, and their own PS2 club.
Clay graduated from Richmond Senior Secondary School
and then obtained his Bachelor of Commerce majoring
in Accounting from UBC. After a well-documented
attempt at obtaining a Chartered Accountancy
designation, Clay did some work in human resources
and financial planning, all the while serving as a
parish youth ministry coordinator at St. Paul's.
After WYD 2002 in Toronto, Clay obtained this
current position as Director of the Youth Ministry
Office, a role he considers his "dream job." Clay
can't believe it's been 3 1/2 years already! Clay
feels blessed to be part of such a dynamic and
faithful team at the YMO.
Although Clay has serious responsibilities, he
doesn't take himself too seriously. He loves to
spend time with his family, play music (piano and
drums), play sports (basketball and volleyball are
his faves), play naptime, and write blogs. He loves
serving the church and the people in it, and is
motivated and inspired by the youth ministers,
volunteers, and young people he encounters. He
realized long time ago that he wasn't cool, so he
doesn't bother trying to fake it.

Faye McCreedy
Email:
ymo@youthmin.com

Faye commutes in from the Fraser Valley West region and
has been an active Catholic since birth. She is first
and foremost a wife to Sean and a mother to Nicole and
James. Together they spend time building with Lego (and
now also with Duplo and Quatro), talking about Youth
Day, dreaming about owning and operating a super-duper
Catholic conference centre, posing their “67 points of
articulation” Spiderman, and just generally spending
time doing various things at Immaculate Conception
Parish in Delta. She is also the part-time Youth
Ministry Coordinator at IC.
Faye is the full time
Administrative Assistant at the YMO. She graduated in
1998 from the University of Victoria where she got her
Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in Leisure Services
Administration. The “Leisure” part means she knows the
history and science behind the use of leisure time; the
“Services” part suggests she does stuff for others; the
"Administration" part got her this job.
